EGYPT. Alexandria. Hadrian, 117-138. Drachm (Bronze, 32 mm, 22.47 g, 12 h), RY 18 = 133/4. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙC ΤΡΑΙΑΝ•ΑΔΡΙΑΝ[ΟC CЄΒ] Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right, seen from behind. Rev. L - IH Nilus reclining left, holding cornucopiae in his right hand and reed in his left; below, crocodile to right. Dattari (Savio) 1787. Emmett 1014.18. K&G 32.592. RPC III 5899. A beautiful piece with attractive earthen highlights. Very fine.
